Deep Understanding
Focus on understanding how and why the science works—not simply memorizing facts or steps.
Personalized Approach
Each session focuses on your course, your goals, and the specific areas where you need help.
Real Scientific Experience
Learn from a PhD scientist with years of biomedical research experience.
Clear Explanations
Difficult ideas broken down into intuitive, manageable pieces.
Send the current topic, assignment, study guide, or class materials beforehand so I can prepare specifically for what you’re working on.
We’ll focus on the concepts and problems giving you trouble and work through them step by step.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the material, what still needs work, and what to practice next.
I’m a scientist who enjoys helping students understand not only what happens in biology and chemistry, but why.
I earned my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and my B.S. in Biochemistry from Florida State University. I later conducted biomedical research at UCSF, focusing on cancer biology and drug discovery.
My approach is to take complicated scientific ideas, identify the part that isn’t clicking, and break them down into a clearer and more intuitive way of thinking.
